Remembering Britt

So today has been coming for awhile and I think I wanted to just skip by today and just move on. But I find myself forgetting what happened a year ago today and living today just like I usually would and I think that it is okay. Truthfully, I was waiting for someone to make a post today about this and since no one was, I thought I would be the one to start it off.
So something that has been on my heart today is Britt's Family. I have been praying for them today and that God will provide comfort for them on this day.
So what exactly are we supposed to do today? I think Britt would want us to keep doing what we are doing and celebrate the amazing life that she lived even though it only lasted almost 20 years.

So that is what I have to say. Britt I miss you lots and remember the life that you lived. I wish you could be here but God had other plans for your life. You will always be remembered. I love you and miss you. Your sister in Christ, Kristi

So Tired...

So today has been such a blur. It involved dragging my butt out of bed and getting ready to go to school even though I didn't want to. I don't even remember what happened this morning in class since I am just starting to wake up. I thought it would be good to go to school since midterms start next wednesday which is insane. So anyways, I think I have come to the conclusion that I will be living back in dorms next year at Briercrest and hopefully being a RA. If not, no worries, we will see where God takes me and I am so excited about that. I feel that nothing is really going on in my life to report. It seems that everyone around me is experiencing great God stories and I have none to share with the world. I just know that He will lead me where I need to be this summer and in the next school year. So ya, that is where I am now.

Until next time, Kristi

Thoughts on today...

So currently I am at school on my lunch break. I can't believe that I have 2 weeks of school left before midterms start and we all know how much I hate those. Those stupid tests stress me out way too much and all they do is supposedly tell me how much I have learned. Ya right they do. I have been told that all my life but I just can't write tests. It is something that I was not gifted with I guess and I am okay with that until I have to write stupid midterms and finals. But with midterms approaching, that means I am half way done this semester and so much closer to summer time. And where will I be this summer? That is an ongoing battle that I need to figure out. It is mostly set on going back to camp as long as my internship can fit in with the job description. I also have an opportunity to possibly get an intership at Campus Crusdade for Christ in the Finance department. There are so many options and I need to figure out something.

Anyways, until next time, Kristi

Welcome to my life...

So here is to the first post on my blog. I don't know if this will be an interesting place to read anything but it is something, especially since it is coming from Saskatchewan.

So anyways, it seems that all I do is go to school. I go 5 days a week for 8 hours a day and I come home and sit on my butt, eat some food, maybe watch a tv show or movie and then go to sleep and then repeat for the rest of the week. Why am I doing this I ask myself all the time. I find it hard to have a social life and to be myself. It seems like I am bogged down with homework, even though I don't have the motivation to do any of it.

So the question I am asking is...why was I put on the earth? I feel that I am wasting away where I am at the moment...going to school and sleeping. It seems that is all I do. I want purpose in my life once again instead of feeling like I am in high school again. I want a real relationship with God again. It seems that I have no time to give him because I am so tired. Why do I feel this way? I am not quite sure...I could just be tired of where I am at at this moment and wanting this school year to be over.

That is where I am at for now...lost and confused in this crazy, messed up world trying to figure out what I want with my life.

Until next time, Kristi
